Therion "Leviathan" Released on Nuclear Blast Records

Therion return with a power house of a album "Leviathan". Wow where to start, The album is epic and from the opening track "The Leaf on The Oak of Far" a fast moving song thats transports you into a world of fantasy. Each track takes you deeper into a world of myth with large Symphonic guitars. "Leviathan" could be mistaken has a soundtrack to a Lord of the Ring style film it really is that good. This is a album not to be missed.

Here Lies Man "Ritual Divination"

Here Lies Man new album "Ritual Divination" is a dirty guitar offering that will take you back to the early days of Black Sabbath. The 70s style distortion really helps the album flow Easy from "In These Dreams to Cutting Through The Tether", Its a solid album with some heavy rock riffs but I do think on times the vocal effects could be changed up a little but don't let that spoil your fun. If you are a fan off Here Lies Man you will love it, if you are a fan of Black Sabbath you will be transported to the early Ozzy era.

Lande Hekt "Going To Hell"

Don't be mistaken about the album title there is definitely nothing Hellingly about this, beautiful vocals from start to finish and is extremely catchy tunes. From the opening song "Whiskey" I felt i was going back to artists like Tonic and there is definitelya touch of The Beautiful South. There are some outstanding songs on this full length album and definitely a album for your collection.

Bloody Hammers latest offering "Songs of Unspeakable Terror" is a one way ticket into Punk Rock mastery. From the opening song "A Night to Dismember" we are taken down the depths of dark universal, Hammer films most gruesome visually. With titles like "Hands of the Ripper & Witchfinder General" You can see the theme of a great sounding album. This is a album for not only Rock but Punk lovers. Other stand out tracks "The ones who own the Dark & We are the Damned" I could name them all. This is a great album that is a very early contender for me to be album of the year its that good.

All Those Things Left Behind

Seattle Rockers Palooka have hit it hard and fast with their next record "All Those Things Left Behind". The ep consisting of 5 tracks is a down and dirty rock n roll album. The opening track "Head in the Clouds" is a blended mixture of Pink Floyd and southern rock. The ep is of pure quality and full of great tracks that definitely need to be heard by a wider audience. If you are new to Palooka then I suggest you get in the fast lane and catch up cause this ep is brilliant the only down fall is its only 5 songs but they are great songs so kinds of evens it.

Dread Sovereign "Alchemical Warfare"

Alchemical Warfare

Doom metallers Dread Sovereign have returned with "Alchemical Warfare" a in your face record that takes you on a journey through the depths then kicks you with Venom coloured boots between your legs. The opening song a instrumental fire pit "A Curse Of Men" shows us that some songs don't need lyrics to get the message over, this was a heavy and expertly executed song which highlighted how good they are musically. By the time we hit "The Great Beast We Serve" we are in full stride leaving corpses in its wake. This is a really good album that gets better after each song. I love it and you will too.

Hearts and Hand Grenades have released their debut album "Turning to Ashes" a hard Rock juggernaut of a album that leaves carnage in its rear view mirror. Stephanie Wlosinski vocals are powerful and gritty and takes me back to the likes of Joan Jett and Shirley Manson in their prime. This is a solid debut album that has placed the band at very high heights, Can they stay there only time will tell but when you produce a match winning game you can only get better. A must for every rockers record player.
