MR: Hi Jodie, it's nice to catch back up with you. How have you been keeping since we last spoke?
I’ve been keeping ok, obviously the virus and lockdown rules are still going on so it’s difficult to keep my spirits up, but I’m trying to stay in my own Jodie bubble as best I can! I call it “staying in my own lane.”
MR: This time of time of year we would normally be dressing up and partying. With the current situation around the country, how will you be spending Halloween?
I have a gig in Bristol actually on Sunday 1 November so although it’s one day after Halloween, I will be celebrating Halloween on Sunday playing a live DJ gig which I’m so excited about! Other than that I will be dressing up on Saturday and having some home made Halloween cocktails!
MR: You are very talented in the make-up department, will you be spending a lot of time working on that special Halloween appearance?
I will be spending a good 2 hours doing my makeup because Halloween only comes around once a year and I love the glam vibes! This year I am going to do my makeup like a “Dead Doll” because I have my Dollhouse By Jodie Weston brand so thought it was very fitting!
MR: We all love to dress up for that spooky situation, what costumes do you go for and is there a budget you give yourself?
I don’t like to have a set budget, it’s more a “spend within your means” vibe for me. I gave myself a budget of £500 this year, and it’s cheered me up and given me something to distract my mind! I love sexy outfits that show off my figure and celebrate my love for all things glam.
MR: Finally, what plans do you have going forward for the rest of the year?
Trying to keep sane and stay out of the drama! It’s been a very difficult year, for my industry in particular so I’m trying to just switch off the news, watch some trash reality shows that are fun viewing and keep doing my DJing from home and presenting my weekly radio show!
